Random Updates..

Hello to all my blogger friends. I am sad to say I have gone far too long with out and update.. Again!
Welp. I don't have any pictures to post. My camera is dead. I guess I need to get some batteries.
We haven't been up to much.

We have a newly remodeled bathroom.. Post will come soon about that.

Jessie has 5 teeth. She has been a trooper. She has gotten fevers, runny poops, and wants to just set in the rocking chair with Mom or Dad and watch t.v, sleep, and cuddle. She is back to her old self and is into EVERYTHING. She isn't walking yet. Cody is always trying to get her to walk. I will try to get her to sometimes, but i'm kinda not pushing the issue too much. It will happen when it happens. She will be ONE this month. Crazy. She hates, hates, hates getting dressed. She will do anything possible to squirm away from me. She still loves the bath and she loves strawberries.

I am doing good and am loving being home more with her. I am only working two days a week. It's very nice! I am glad to be here at home and watch her grow. I have been reading like no other. I seriously can't get enough. I've been reading a lds series by Anita Stansfield, it's so good!

Cody is hating the heat and can't wait until fall. I seriously don't know how he does it. I die walking from the car to the house. I'm so thankful for him and his job being so supportive so that i'm able to stay home as much as I do. He's been picking us lots of yummy tomato's from his little garden. Home grown tomato's are the best!

Next week we celebrate two years of being married.. Pretty crazy.. Couldn't be happier!

Teeth!

Jessie finally had two teeth break through! Her top fangs.. I would take picture to show, but she won't let me near her mouth!

She has been kind of grumpy, but not too bad. Yay!

Fair Fun

 The Fair recently came to town! We always look forward to the fair and the fun that it brings. We went for three days. On friday we helped my mother in law out with the farming booth she was running. And then enjoyed the chilly weather and the food. On Friday night my family came down. My little brother stayed the night and came with us to the fair on saturday for more fun.

We got Jessie a little cowgirl hat and she loved the milking cow in my mother in laws booth. We all thought she looked so cute. We had a fun time but I was happy to see the fair leave! The food was makin me sick! Until next year Clark County Fair!!

9 Months!

It's so hard to believe Jessie is 9 months! Well actually she's almost ten now.. I suck at this blogging thing.

We went to her 9 month check up unsure if we were getting shots or not. Luckily it was just a finger poke to check her iron. Everything looked good. She did get upset though and was not happy with the nurses even looking at her let alone trying to smile at her.

19 lbs 10 1/2 oz
28 1/2 inches tall

trys to escape while getting her diaper changed. It's impossible.

usually sleeps through the night. Wakes up for a bottle between 5-6am for a bottle then sleeps for a couple more hours
will sometimes play peek a boo and blow kisses

Our girl is a spicy little thing, but we sure love her!!

Easter 2012

We had a fun family filled easter this year! Saturday morning I had to work so Cody met me in Mesquite for swimming and a BBQ at my Aunt Keri's. I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics. But we sure had fun and Jessie loves the water.
Jessie got spoiled by gma and gpa lee. She got lots of goodies.

The easter bunny also left fun toys and treats and some much needed clothes!

We had a great easter.

Fried Pickles..

A few weekends ago we went to the wonderful and ever so yummy Buffalo Wild Wings.. Cody had always said that fried pickles were good and I always thought it sounded gross.. We got an order of them and they were soo delish. So we found a recipe online and tried to make them ourselves. It's those things in the picture above. They may not look good, but they really were!!
We have been enjoying the weather. Jessie loves being outside and it calms her to be out there.

Yesterday Jessie and I made some chocolate chip cookies! She was a great taste tester for me!
