Cody's Birthday!

Cody turned 28 on September 18th!

He had to spend his day at work.

 He requested 'Chicken Pasta' for dinner and an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen!

Jessie and I had balloons and his presents waiting for him when he got home. Jessie had fun helping him open his presents.

 The only cake they had was hello kitty. Cody didn't mind.

Cody had a great birthday!

A Life Update

Hey All!

Nothing too exciting has been happening at our house lately.

 

*I turned 22 on 8/26/13. It was a good day spent with family. I'm still enjoying spending my days home with Jessie. Oh and I totally HATE doing the dishes lately. Least favorite chore, ever!

 

*I have attempted potty training Jessie over the last while, she has no interest. I'm going to hold off for awhile. She is loving her Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye toys. She loves fruit and peanut butter sandwiches. Still loves being outside.

 

*Cody has been busy with work, family time, and church callings.

He has an elk tag this year and is so excited for hunting season and cooler weather to come.

Disneyland July 2013

We were lucky enough to go to the happiest place on earth last week!

 We headed out at about 1:00 last Thursday. We took Betsy, Brooke, and Keaton along with us!

Jessie did really well in the car. She slept a lot and watched movies on the ipad.

 The park wasn't terribly busy.

We were there for 3 days.

Jessie's favorite rides were:

Winnie the pooh, Bug's land, The Carasol, The Little Mermaid, Moster's Inc., And both Toy Story rides!

She also loved the parades.

I don't blame her. They were adorable!!

 We didn't meet a lot of characters because the lines were long.

Long lines with a two year old are so not fun.

 Our hotel had a fun pool and we took advantage of the cheesecake factory down the street.

 Oh. Cars land was daaaarling.

If you haven't seen it. GO!

And Radiator Springs Racers was worth the wait.

SO FUN!

 Cody spoiles Jessie and got her a Buzz Lightyear toy.

We LOVE Buzz.

 Jessie also loved Tarzan's tree house.

She did get scared of the tiger tho.;)

 Naps were a must!

We had so much fun.

We will be back.

Trampoline

My parents gave us their trampoline awhile back.

We finally got it set up.

Jessie loves to jump!

She does all sorts of tricks for us.

4 of July

The fourth of July just happens to be my father in laws birthday!

We celebrated by having lunch at my inlaws house!

Happy 55th to Papa Jim!

We went to my parents house for dinner/swimming/fireworks!

Jessie liked the sparklers until she touched one and got scared.

She thought the fireworks were pretty cool too!

Jessie's Birthday Party

For Jessie's party this year we decided to keep it small so we invited our families over for a little party.

We had a yummy dinner that consisted of carne asada tacos and just regular beef tacos. Los Lupes chips and salsa, and lots of fruit goodness.

 Jessie got spoiled with lots of great toys and lots of new clothes!

 We had yummy costco cake and homemade icecream.

 Jessie had a lot of fun!

Two year stats:
*32 pounds
*34 1/4 inches tall
*wears 3T
*size 7 shoe

Jessie's Birthday DAY

On Jessie's actual birthday Daddy was at work so Jessie and I spent the day together.

We went and got a chicken nuggets from McDonald's for lunch.

She spent the afternoon playing with play dough.

And when Cody got off work we took her to the slash park in Moapa.

She got stung by a bee on her thigh, but it didn't phase her for long.

 I made spaghetti for dinner and Jessie ate lots!

She got to open two of her presents from Mom and Dad

and we had cupcakes!

We ended the night by watching Despicable Me.

It was a good day!
