2 Years..

This Monday we will have been married for 2 years. Times flies! We decided that we wanted to do something. Anything. We always say were are going to do something, but with lack of time, money, leaving a sweet girl, they rarely happen. We did something!
We decided that I wouldn't be able to leave Jessie for 2 nights so we settled for a one night stay. We decided to go to St George. I love St George. It has everything I need there. So thats where we went!
We left Friday about noon dropping Jessie off at my Mom's house. We decided we needed to go to the Temple because it's been far too long. I get nervous going because I feel like I have no clue what I'm doing or I'm going to 'mess up'. But I'm so glad that we went. I felt so good going and want to go back soon. I felt like I learned so much and feel more confident for next time. We then went and got something to eat at yummy Olive Garden. We decided it would be good to go check into our hotel. Well we went to the wrong hotel and got directions to the hotel we were supposed to be staying at. We got all checked in and changed out of our church clothes and relaxed for awhile, watching tv, talking. We had fun. We decided we needed some ice cream so we went to Dairy Queen for some cookie dough blizzards. My favorite. We got some drinks to take back to the room and lounged around. We watched the crazy man walk across Niagra Falls on a wire. He made it. Crazy Dude! Then we laughed because the bed was so hard. And the room was so hot even though we had the a/c on full blast! Of course with our luck there was a big light shining through the window. But we eventually fell asleep. We didn't sleep well but we got some rest. We woke up and decided to go see what the hotel had at their free breakfast. We ate and went back to our room to get ready and go do the shopping we needed to do. We got Jessie's birthday presents and we got Cody and our Dad's their father's day gifts. I decided by this time I was starving so we stopped at the Pizza Factory for some Salad and Pizza! Jessie wasn't too thrilled to see us. She has too much fun at Grandma's!
We had a good time and I'm glad that we got to celebrate our anniversary! We even went to Deseret Book and got each other some new underwear as gifts. Romantic huh??
I love Cody and I'm so glad that I was blessed with such a special son of God. He is so great, I don't know how I got so lucky.
