Belly Picture..

* Twenty Five Weeks*

Things are going well here at the Hardy home. We are keeping busy and having fun.

Cravings: Mac and cheese with A1 sauce, Cookies(thanks Cindy), and fruit smoothies.

Our favorite treat..

We love milk and orange rolls or cinnamon rolls. And its so easy. We just buy a bag of the rhodes rolls and set them out for 3-5 hours. Or you can do the Cody Hardy method and turn the oven on and set the rolls on the hot oven so they rise in about thirty minutes. But either way they are yummy.:)

My Crazy Cute Cody..

Hahaha. My husband makes me laugh on a daily basis. A couple weekends ago I took my little brother to a 3D movie (Gnomeo and Juliet, I almost fell asleep). But my husband here had fun with the 3D glasses. He popped the lenses out of them and put some tape in the middle and says they are his 'reading glasses'. When he walked into the room with them on I just laughed and had to snap a few pictures. He didn't take them off for like thirty minutes after he put them on. I'm so thankful for Cody and all the does for me each and everyday. He always does what I ask with out complaining and with a cheesy smile on his face. I couldn't ask for anyone better. I LOVE him.:)

Feelin' like humpty dumpty or a fertility goddess??

Definitely Humpty Dumpty!!

A couple weekends ago my family was going to Dumont Dunes so we decided to pack up and get outta the valley for a couple days! It was a nice get-a-way. While we were there I started having pretty bad random stomach cramps. And they were painful! I thought it must of been something I had eaten or just growing pregnancy pains. After two days I started getting worried and called my Dr. on Tuesday. They told me it was best if I come right into the office and they take a look at me because they thought that I might be having some contractions. So I left work and headed to the Dr. I got there and they hooked me up to the non-stress test machine for and hour or so. They also checked my cervix. It appeared to be closed still. And the non-stress test showed that I was not having contractions. We did find out what was wrong with me though.. I had been taking and anti-biotic because I had an infection in my throat and it reacted really sensitive with my body. So I'm on ten more days worth of pills. With my iron, prenatals, and these pills, I am taking 12 pills a day. I feel old.

I went to the Dr. today for my monthly visit. Things are looking good and the baby is growing. My stomach grew one centimeter and I gained six pounds this month, making my total weight gain around 16 pounds. I have been in a lot of pain because something is wrong with my tailbone. My Dr. referred me to a general surgeon. So I am going to see her next Monday.

Cody went with me to the Dr. and we also went and bought a crib and changing table. We still have a lot to get but it's a start.

Dr. Appointment #4.. {Ultrasound}

*This isn't a very good picture, cause I took a picture of the picture with my cell phone. You can see the side profile and SHE also has HER fingers in HER mouth.*
I thought that the day when we found out the sex of our baby would NEVER come. I was seriously counting down the days. When it finally came I was nervous/excited. I was nervous just because this was our first ultrasound and I had never seen the baby before. It was really cool to see that there WAS actually something in there. I think that this has made it very much more real for both Cody and I that we are having a baby. I think that it was also fun that we found out that it was a girl. I was totally prepared for a boy. Pretty much everyone I know that's pregnant is having a boy. When the Dr. said that it was a girl I was literally cheering on the table I was laying on. Haha. I am so excited. I can't wait to dress her in dresses with tights, and put bows in her hair. I think Cody was wanting a little buddy to take hunting or on the rhino, but I think a girl will be fun for him too. She will be spoiled rotten by him, that's for sure. He cracks me up. After the ultrasound I have caught him calling me 'Momma' a lot and saying 'Our Little Girl' when referring to the baby. We love her so much already and are excited for her arrival. I just hit the 20 week mark so we are officially half way there. It's all down hill from here right?? Haha.
My iron levels did come back normal so I was relieved that I won't have to go to a specialist for my iron. Hooray.

C&M Update..

We haven't really been up to anything too exciting.
Cody has just been working and playing/helping around on the farm. He is such a busy body. I think that is one of the only things that we don't have in common. He can't sit still for too long. He likes to keep busy and have something to do on saturday morning. (I'll stick with sleeping in, Thanks). I am thankful for such a non-lazy hard working husband.
I have been working 3-4 days in Mesquite. It has been nice to have something to do and not be bored at home. I feel like all I do is work, eat, and sleep. But thats ok. The weeks are going by quick with us keeping busy. I am not getting sick anymore. Thankgoodness. We only have fifteen more days till we go to the Dr. to find out what we are having. This month does feel a little bit slow. The anticipation of not know what we are having is kind of driving me nuts. I seriously have no idea on the whole boy or girl situation. The chinese birth chart says boy, but when I do the whole needle over the wrist thing is says girl. Heck, maybe it's one of each.:)
We now go to church at one p.m. Most people would hate it, but I sorta like it. It's nice to sleep in, get up and have breakfast, clean up the breakfast mess, go back to bed, get ready and go. And i'm sure when I have a baby it will be nice to go later. We got put into the primary shortly after we were married. We were teaching the 11 year olds but with the new year we got switched to the 4 year olds. It has been a really fun change. Its fun to see Cody with the kids, teaching them and trying to be paitent. We are really enjoying it.
