Thanksgiving 2011.

We spent our thanksgiving this year with my Dad's side of the family. It's always a good time when we get together. We need to do it more often.

Jessie loved being outside and walking to the ball fields in her stroller.
She even got to try some food. Banana Cream Pie was her fav.

I'm so thankful for the family that I have and i'm so grateful to be able to know that I will have them with me forever. I love the gospel. And i'm thankful for all that i've been blessed with good and bad.

I love the holidays and all the family time that it brings.

We got all of our holiday decor up.. Bring on Christmas!!

Worst Mother Award Goes To.......

ME!!! Mersadie Hardy.. For allowing Jessie some sips of Diet Pepsi.. Oh well she loves it.. And she loves me cause I give it to her.. Hey, it's a win, win situation!

Halloween 2011.

I have neglected our blog a lot a lot alot lately. We've been busy. I have been working more hours and the free time that I have is not to be used to blog.. Sooo I will try to be better!

On Halloween Jessie had her four month appointment. She weighed in at 13 lbs and 10.5 oz and she was 25 inches long. She also got her four month old shots. Cody had school that day so he couldn't go. I did it.. All by myself! Yay me! I just shoved a bottle in her mouth as she got the shots and she was just fine!:)

Jessie was a super cute cow for her first halloween. She didn't want to smile for pictures, but that's ok.
We didn't do a lot of trick-or-treating. We just went to my in-laws house and my grandparents in-laws. She can't eat candy so that means I would be eating it. So we just avoided the whole house to house thing.


Jessie is rolling all over the place. She's sleeping through the night. She is doing better at taking naps and is loving her bottles and sometimes baby food. Food is most definetly her love language. Hmm. I KNOW she didn't get that from me.......... J/K.

The Mighty Hunter..

And no, I am NOT talking about myself. Cody likes to Hunt for some reason I do not know. I was raised with my Dad always going hunting, but I was never interested. I think its weird, but I am the most impaitent person. ever. So I do not think that going and looking for a 'big kill' would be fun at all. I am glad that Cody got tags this year and has been able to go do something that he likes to do. He is going out again this weekend to try to fill his Utah deer tag. He got one in Nevada. It was a 3 point buck. Good luck Cody!!

Pierced Ears..

We finally got Jessie's ears pierced. I don't think she liked it.

I was supposed to go with my Mom and Sisters to take her, but well I sat in the car instead. I thought I might have to 'jump' the girl doing it for hurting my girl.

She survived and is cuter than ever!!

She didn't have a good 24 hours.. Ears pierced one day and the next morning her first fall.. Oh man. I stayed the weekend at my Mom's cause Cody was hunting. Me and my Sister, Kenadie were getting ready in my Mom's bathroom. We put Jess in her stroler, unbuckled. Jessie is so squirmy and she kept sliding down the stroller. I was standing there straighting my hair and the next thing I know she's laying face first on the floor, screaming. Worst mother of the day was awarded to me that day! She was ok with a bottle. I cried more than she did. It was so sad. Can I put her in a bubble forever so she never has to get hurt again? Or have to see all the bad things that go on in the world today? Please?

Happy Birthday to Cody..

Cody turned twenty-six on the eighteenth! He was gone elk hunting with my dad so I didn't even get to see him. I gave him his gift before he left for the hunt. Jessie and I got him a new heavy duty sleeping bag. He told me that's what he wanted, so it made my job easy! It will be good for him in October cause he will be doing lots more hunting. Upon request I'm going to make him his favorite cake tomorrow since I didn't get to celebrate with him on his real birthday.

6 Generations..

I feel extremely blessed to have six generations on my mom's side all still here with me on earth!! I think it's pretty crazy. Cody was gone this last weekend so it was a perfect time for me to get this picture taken!

My great great grandmother is 100 years old!! She's such a sweet lady. He even had her fingernails painted. I could listen to her and my great grandmother talk about old times all day long! Such fun, sweet people!! I'm so grateful to call them my family!!

Obsessed..

I am so obsessed with abcfamily's original series PRETTY LITTLE LIARS!!

The third season just ended. And of course left me with lots of questions.

Its a murder mystery series.

Cody looked up the spoilers online, so now he teases me that he knows who 'A' is and what happens through out the rest of the show.

The other night I was teasing him.. And he looked at me and said.. "If you don't stop I'm going to tell you who A is."

I'm so antsy to see what happens. So I started the books! I love to read so it's a win win situation!

To be honest.. I don't really know why I love it.. It gives me nightmares way too much!

I'm 20..

I turned 20 on the 26th day of August.

As Cody would say.. I'm no longer a teen mom. Haha.

I spent the day with my lovely sister-in-laws.

We went to St. George for some lunch at the Olive Garden and then we hit the mall.

I came home to flowers from Cody. He had ordered me something online, but it hadn't came yet.

Hannah babysat for us and we went to dinner at the scoop.

My online gift were these cute cowgirl boots below. I picked them out myself. And he also got me the Pretty Little Liars book one.

On Sunday we had cake and ice cream with at my in-laws and my parents came down too.
It was a great birthday.

2 Months Old..

Jessie is two months old!!
We had to go to the Dr. and get her first set of shots. Cody stayed with her while I ran a few arrands. But of course I got back just in time to hear her scream!

She now weighs 11.4 lbs and is 22.6 inches tall!

*She still loves everything she did at one month.

*She is now more alert and likes to watch mickey mouse!!

I'm a Disney fReAk so she better love Disney too or I might have to cry myself to sleep at night.
*She is also laughing a lot more and starting to baby talk.

*She is NOT a nap taker. I'm lucky if she will take a long nap during the day. She will do cat naps, and wake up right when I put her down.

*She is sleeping from around 9 p.m to 4 a.m eats and then goes back to sleep for a few more hours.

*Sometimes she just likes to be left alone. When she gets fussy sometimes we just set her on the couch by herself and she is happy.

*Her nicknames are Sister, Sissy, Girl, Jess, and Stinkpot.

At least she got some sweet bandaids!!
She's growing up fast. But she is getting to a fun stage. The newborn stage is sweet, but i'm ready for her to talk and start to show her sweet personality!

Pretty Toes..

I painted Jessie's toe nails! She was moving all over so it was kinda hard. But they still look pretty cute. As long as you don't look too close. Ha.

Now I just need to work up the courage to pierce her ears.

Gone Campin'..

We went on our first family camping trip a couple weeks ago!

We headed up to my dad's property by strawberry point on cedar mountain. It happed to be Duck Creek Days. So it was pretty busy up there.

We got some yummy ribbon fries topped with chili and cheese. We also got some old fashioned soda. It was super delish!

I never let Cody take pictures with me and the baby pretty much cause I always look like crap. But I decided I need to start so we have them for memories.

We stayed in our toy hauler. It was nice. I'm not a big camping type of gal, but I better get used to it cause my husband is a big fan.

I was too scared to sleep on the bunk beds so Jessie and I slept on the little couch beds. They weren't too bad. Much better than sleeping on the top bunk and possibly rolling off or sleeping on the second bunk and feeling so costrophobic, it was like being in a coffin! Well.. Not like i've been in one.. but you catch my flow.

Cody let Jessie lick and M&M. I think she liked it. Maybe just a little bit.;)

We had a nice time! And it was great to get out of this blistering heat for a night.

We hope to go back soon.

5 Weeks Old..

Yep. It's true! I have thee cutest baby EVER!

She's Blessed!!

On August 7th, 2011 Jessie was blessed by her father, Cody James Hardy.

Doesn't she look so happy?? I need to get her in her dress again for better pictures. My Grandmother Velma Leavitt made her blessing dress, booties and afgin.

Cody did a great job. He was a little nervous, but I knew he would do great! Jessie didn't even make a peep.

After the blessing we did a luncheon at Glen and Shirleys house! There was yummy food and lots of visiting.
We are so happy that we have such great family who will support us through anything. Family is what life is all about. I am so grateful to have been blessed with such a good family that I married into. I couldn't have picked any better.

We love our Jessie girl and couldn't imagine life without her

It was a great day forsure.
